That's why this error code is telling you to get in touch with Ariston's Technical Service to perform routine maintenance on your boiler and keep it running in optimal conditions. If you want to try it yourself first, follow these steps carefully

How to fix the 3p9 error of the Ariston boiler?

As we've mentioned before, this code is not an error as such, but it can be quite bothersome. So, we'll show you how to get rid of it. However, we recommend you stay attentive to preventive maintenance for your Ariston boiler. Only in this way can you properly care for it and prolong its lifespan:

  1. First of all, press the "Ok" and "Back" buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds.
  2. You'll be prompted to enter the technical code, which is "234". So, you'll need to use the navigation panel with the directional arrows to change these numbers and set the correct one. Once done, press "Ok".
  3. Navigate through the menu with the directional arrows and select the "Menu" option, then press "Ok". Wait for the menu to load and continue with the next steps. If you see a delay, don't worry, it's normal.
  4. Once the next navigation menu has loaded, select option number 8 labeled "Service Parameters". Select it and press the "Ok" button.
  5. Now that you're in the service parameters, navigate with the directional arrows to option number 8.5 labeled "Maintenance". Select it and press the "Ok" button.
  6. Once inside the maintenance menu, select option 8.5.1 labeled "Maintenance Information" using the "Ok" button. Here you only have 2 choices; enter the number 0 to deactivate or enter the number 1 to activate. Obviously, we choose the number 0 to deactivate it, press the "Ok" button. This takes us back to the previous menu where we need to adjust another parameter.
  7. In the same maintenance menu, we will now select the option 8.5.2 labeled "Maintenance Warning Cancellation". It will ask if you really want to confirm the reset by pressing the "Ok" button. Press it to confirm and it will return you to the previous maintenance menu.
  8. Recheck the option 8.5.1 labeled "Maintenance Information" and ensure it is set to number 0.
  9. Finally, within the same maintenance menu, choose the option 8.5.0 labeled "Next Maintenance Month". This option allows you to schedule when you approximately plan to perform the next maintenance on your boiler. Select using the "Ok" button, and it will let you choose a number between 0 and 60. These numbers represent the upcoming months the boiler has to wait for its next maintenance and notify you about it. If possible, select the maximum value, which would be 60. Press the "Ok" button and done, we're finished!
  10. If by chance your maximum value is not set at 60 but a much lower number, don't worry. This is because boilers with more or less than 60-70Kv have different maintenance options recommended by the manufacturer. Just set the maximum value available to you and you're good to go.

Note: What we've explained in this article is a trick so that your boiler stops displaying this error code 3P9 and lets you continue using it normally. However, we strongly recommend that if the boiler has already alerted you about its maintenance plan, you should call Ariston's technical support and notify them of the situation.

Remember, a boiler that's kept up-to-date with maintenance is a happy boiler. Take good care of it and prolong its lifespan with proper maintenance in the hands of experts.
