Steps to unlock your Bosch washing machine
Unlocking your Bosch washing machine is quite straightforward. Some washers have a safety lock to prevent the door from opening during the cycle. So, you just need to:
- Press the start button and hold it down for 3 to 5 seconds.
- At some point between those 3 and 5 seconds, you'll hear a beep, and the lock symbol will disappear, allowing you to open the door. We recommend a quiet environment as beeps can be somewhat subtle.
The lock symbol may still be blinking. Your Bosch washer might be one of the older models. In that case, follow these two steps:
- Locate the "rpm" and "finish in" buttons and press them for another 3 to 5 seconds.
- You'll hear another beep, indicating that the lock disappears from the display, signaling the unlocking of your washing machine.
